Program Details

Asynchronous and synchronous instruction are two approaches to online learning.  Synchronous instruction means everyone learns together at the same time, like a live online class, using tools such as video conferencing. Asynchronous instruction allows students to learn more at their own pace, accessing materials such as pre-recorded lectures and completing assignments on their own schedule. Mary Baldwin online coursework is largely asynchronous, however, some courses may have synchronous components.
